Icarus?

Another task I was set by my professor, we had inspired by this picture. So I thought, 'what if Icarus didn't die? What if he just hid away in that cave over there?'. And this is how this poem was born :)

Is it a curse, to be God-blessed?

To see yourself above the rest?

A man who once had it all,

Lost it all in his fall.

Are you Icarus?

How did it feel?

To be left

Alone to

Fall?
